Honey Island Rollers is league-owned and league-managed. That means our amazing team of trainers and skaters all volunteer their time to make this happen.
Origin
Like the rest of the human race circa 2020, we got bored sitting around on our asses in the middle of a pandemic. So, we strapped on our skates and decided it was high time Malta had its own roller derby league.
Values
We are inclusive, democratic, and non-discriminatory. Women and gender-expansive people can join the league as skaters, whilst people of any gender are welcome to participate as referees or NSOs.
what’s happening
The Honey Island Rollers train twice a week and occasionally meet up for social skates at the Msida skatepark.
